SEASON 1
Episode
1: The Garden Party
When the owner of Granddad’s house invites Granddad and the kids to his
garden party, Huey tries to start trouble by saying Jesus was black and
comparing Ronald Regan to the devil. Meanwhile, Riley and the owner’s
grandson (a soilder back from Iraq) play with guns and Granddad runs
into the self-loathing black butler Uncle Rukus.
Episode 2: The Trial of R. Kelly
When the trial of R&B star R. Kelly comes to town and Tom Dubois is the ADA, Huey and Riley are on opposing sides of the hot-button “underage peeing” issue. Meanwhile, Granddad and Uncle Ruckus argue about white people during a game of checkers.
Huey and Riley try to convince Grandad that his new girlfriend Cristal (like the champagne) is actually a prostitute. Of course, Grandad doesn’t believe them, even when she spends all his money. But when A Pimp Named Slickback shows up, the truth is revealed.

Grandad gets in a fight with the old and blind Colonel Stinkmeaner.

5: A Date with the Health Inspector
Tom Dubois is accused of being a elusive killer and Huey must find the
real killer.

6: The Story of Gangstalicious
Riley’s favorite rapper, Gangstalicious, is shot and hospitalized in
Woodcrest.

7: A Huey Freeman Christmas
A well meaning teacher offers Huey the chance to direct the school
Christmas play, and Huey decides to release his vision to the world:
“The Adventures of Black Jesus.”

8: The Real
While Riley is busy convincing two reality shows that Granddad’s blind
and running a homeless shelter, Huey is being shadowed by a secret
government agent. But is he real?

9: The Return of the King
When Martin Luther King comes out of a coma after 32 years and finds
himself thrust into the 21st and life in the post “September 11th” era,
his “turn the other cheek” philosophy quickly takes him from beloved
national hero to dispised terrorist sympathizer.

10: The Itis
Grandad opens “The Itis”, the only soul food restaurant in Woodcrest.
White people didn’t expect it. They also didn’t expect high
cholesterol, heart disease, and obesity.

11: Let’s Nab Oprah
Huey has to stop Riley and a small gang of misfit idiots from nabbing
the talk show deity, Oprah.

12: Riley Wuz Here
When Riley’s affinity for grafitti goes too far, Grandad sends him to
an art teacher that actually encourages
him to do grafitti, only painting murals instead. Meanwhile, Huey
discovers a black woman died from watching too much black TV, and
decides to watch black TV for 2 weeks to see if that was the cause.

13: Wingmen
When Grandad’s oldest friend, and possibly his worst
friend, Moe, dies, the Freemans go back home and Grandad wants the
possession Moe left him. Meanwhile, Huey is eager to see his friend
again but both Grandad and Huey both discover to put the past behind
them and focus on the future.

14: The Block Is Hot
Its February, and its record temperatures of 90 degrees. Luckily,
Jazmine has her lemonade stand open, and does pretty well. Her success
catches the eye of corporate tycoon Ed Wuncler. Despite several
warnings from Huey, Jazmine then learns the true meaning of
“capitalism” when Wuncler decides to buy the stand.

15: The Passion of Ruckus
While Ruckus spreads the word of White Jesus to get into White Heaven,
Huey desperately tries to save his friend from death row.
SEASON 2
Episode
1: …Or Die Trying
Granddad, Huey, Riley and Jazmine sneak into the movies to watch
Soulplane 2: The Blackjacking! At the theatre, they do their best to
avoid Ruckus, who is fervent about reporting them to the authorities.

2: Tom, Sarah and Usher
While on a date with Tom Dubois, Sarah Dubois meets the singing
sensation, Usher. Sarah starts being obsessed with Usher, and Tome
begins to think Sarah is cheating on him. Sarah kicks Tom out of the
house and Tom moves in with the Freemans. A pimp Named Slick Back
returns in this episode to try to help Tom get Sarah back.

3: Thank You for Not Snitching
Two men are invading homes, and Riley and Granddad are refusing to
speak to the police. It gets worse when Granddad’s car, Dorothy, gets
stolen by the robbers. If Riley and Granddad still refuse, worse things
may be in store.

4: Stinkmeaner Strikes Back
Huey has a dream of Stinkmeaner and Grandad says that he was a menace
and he sent him to hell like he deserves. Stinkmeaner’s spirit later
inhabits Tom Dubois’ body and goes looking for revenge against
Granddad. Huey must stop him from killing Granddad.

5: The Story of Thugnificent
The infamous rapper Thugnificent moves to the neighborhood of
Woodcrest, with his friend Macktastic and Flonominal, eventually
leading to Granddad becoming annoyed with his new neighbours. Their
feud inspires Thugnificent to create one of the best diss-tracks of all
time, called “Eff Granddad”.

6: Attack of the Killer Kung-Fu Wolf Bitch
After many failed attempts at online dating, Granddad finally meets a
beautiful woman named Luna… who just happens to be a psycho.

Riley joins Thugnificent’s Lethal Injection crew. Meanwhile, a local
bully steals Riley’s prized chain.

Riley learns a lesson in good sportsmanship after he joins a basketball
team.

9: Invasion of Katrinians
When Granddad’s cousin Jericho and his family (displaced from Hurricane
Katrina) move in to his house in Woodcrest, he does whatever he can to
get rid of them as quickly as possible..

Granddad takes a vacation, leaving the boys alone, but just who is in
charge?

11: The S-Word
Granddad and the good Rev. Rolo Goodlove try to cash in big after a
teacher calls Riley “the-n-word” in school.

12: Story of Catcher Freeman
Huey and Riley listen to different perspectives on the story of their
ancestor Catcher Freeman.
Episode 13 - The Story Of Gangstalicious
Much to the chagrin of Granddad, Riley starts to walk, talk, and dress like his favorite rapper, Gangstalicious. Riley arranges for rappers Thugnificent, Flo-Nominal, and Macktastic to collaborate with Gangstalicious on a remix of his new hit song, “Homies over Hoes.” But when rumors surface about Gangstalicious being gay - following in the footsteps of gay rapper Booty B - Riley’s world is turned upside-down
